Ivan Linford is a professional organist based in Oakham, Rutland, UK. He specialises in playing the organ for funeral and memorial services for those who prefer live performances over recorded music. He is able to travel anywhere in the UK and is sometimes available at short notice. With over three decades of experience as an organist working in churches, cathedrals and schools, he is also able to advise on music choices for services. He can play the organ to lead the singing of hymns and perform suitable organ voluntaries to a high standard.

Costs

My basic fee for a funeral or memorial service is £135. This includes travel within a 25-mile radius of Oakham, UK. Mileage costs will be added to travel further afield. I am always happy to discuss costs and all charges are agreed in advance of the service. If overnight accommodation is required, this can also be discussed. There is an additional charge of £50 for the provision and use of my digital piano (if it is required).
